Air Tightness Testing

Air tightness testing (also known as air permeability or blower door testing) measures how much air leaks through gaps and cracks in a building’s fabric. It is a critical part of demonstrating compliance with Building Regulations Part L, helping ensure energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and reduced carbon emissions.

All new-build residential and commercial buildings are required to undergo an air tightness test before completion. A successful result confirms that the building envelope meets the designed energy performance.

We provide certified air tightness testing for both domestic and non-domestic buildings across London, West Sussex, and the North West. Our service includes:

  • Testing to industry standards (ATTMA TSL1 & TSL2)
  • Clear pass/fail guidance and support
  • Retesting if needed after remedial work
